The PRICOM 3100 can control the access to printer by specifying a range of IP addresses. As an enhanced security measure, this function limits the access to your network printer. It allows only the network clients in the given IP address range to print/configure the device parameters while preventing unauthorized network access. Consequently, the network traffic load to the PRICOM 3100 is decreased by the communication filtering, which assures even more stable device performance speed.
